Changes to my study program

Hey guys! Well, today I want to talk about some changes that I would make in my career that I am studying, Odontology. I am in the third semester in the Universidad de Chile. A career of high prestige above others. With a duration of 6 years and a very complete study plan, with the idea that we will have a scientific base for the odontology work, but, with a critical look I think that with that focus we lose some of the practice side that this career needs, in fact there are a lot of things that are not necessary to learn. Secondly, workload usually turns stressful, and it affects our mental health, but with this, I am not saying that is teachers’ fault. About infrastructure and technology, my university has not the best technologies of this time, but it works with the purpose of learning. In terms of infrastructure, there could be more green areas and dressing rooms… and in technology, I think that in pre clinic the “mannequins” are too old, because they usually do not work well.

Time travel to the future

I do not know what will happen in the future and know about our future days it is a controversial topic, some people could say it is better not disrupt the future, other people could say that it is better know about it, to avoid future problems. In my case, I do not mind know about the future, I prefer to wait for those days with patience, whatever needs to happen is going to happen. But in case of I must travel to the future, come what comes, I would like travel 45 years into the future. In that year I might meet myself but with 65 years old, I would like to drink a beer and talk about our past stories or maybe remember those days in which we first engaged with the reality of the life... Who knows? Despite of have that opportunity, I would not be staying in that future time, because I would not feel comfortable... It would been strange and know about future things would been boring.

My dream job

Someday, I would like to work in an aquarium as a marine life specialist, I love the idea of work with a lot of sea creatures, such as fishes, sharks, penguins, sea mammals. This work would not be only indoors, it would be also outdoors, for example, to visit the ocean constantly to investigate, that seems to me dynamic and funny. I have never liked office work, I think that is boring and monotonous, that is why this work would be perfect to me, but if someday I would like to work in an aquarium, first I must study marine biology, which I plan to do after I finish my actual career. I know that marine biology is not related with dentistry, but if I want to work in that, first I need money and other things, because in this country, the marine biologists do not have the importance that they deserve .

A great concert.

Morat is one of my favorite bands, I went to his concert in March 2022, it was held at Movistar Arena stadium. This band is composed of four members, I admire J.P Isaza because he plays various instrument, especially piano and guitar. Simón wrote a book, his name its “A la orilla de la luz”, I love it. J.P Villamil plays a banjo, he gives a special charm to their songs. Finally, Martín is the youngest member of the band, he plays a drum kit. That day, they changed the rhythm to their songs, also they invited one fan to the stage. The atmosphere turned magic with every song... nowadays I'm still astonished. My favorite Morat's song is “Nunca te olvidé”, it is special to me because me and someone used to listen this song together in 2021… it’s a beautiful memory. I hope to go again to another concert of Morat, but with my friends or some Morat fan to sing at the top of our lungs.
